Running to the Gile Mountain Fire Tower
My first run up Gile Mountain on the Blue Ribbon Trail. It was a 3.5 mile uphill run with a nice reward at the top, a view from the top of the fire tower. A little mud at the top with a very fast last mile. The trailhead starts 3.5 miles up Beaver Meadow Rd on the right in Norwich, VT. There is also a 20 minute hike to the tower via Turnpike Road. Bellows Falls and Fall Mountain
These pictures were taken in November of last year. Pictures of Bellows Falls from Fall Mountain and the train station. I highly recommend this short hike. You park at the end of Mountain View Road in Walpole, NH. Here is the same view tilt-shifted.
