The Fells Newbury, NH-On Lake Sunapee
The Fells (Hays Estate) is an 84 acre estate and gardens on Lake Sunapee. It sits across the lake from the Sunapee State Beach and is probably one of the last places on the lake were there is actually still a forest on its banks. We missed the tour of the house, but spent about and hour checking out the gardens and wooded paths. I would highly recommend a visit. For Lebanon residents there are free passes available at the library.

The Purple Iris
Some different perspectives of the Purple Iris (Iris is derived from the Greek word for rainbow). All shots were taken in late afternoon with Nikon 40 mm Macro Lens. On a few shots a macro ring light was used.
