Long Exposures at the Beach
Went to the coast over the weekend. It was a very bright and sunny day, so I decided to use a 10-stop ND Filter. This is a single image 59 secs., ISO 100, 14mm, and f/25. Same image in B&W. Single Image 104 secs., ISO 100, 14mm, f/16. Three Images blended, f/16, three exposure shots @ 1/15, 1/60, and 1/30 sec.

A July Evening at Saint Gaudens
Brent and I had a guys night out and stopped in at Saint Gaudens before they closed. We checked out the workshop and got some photos. We then decided to check out the trails and made a pit stop at the small work shop at the head of the trail. Here we met the sculptor-in-residence. He explained in detail to Brent and I about lost-wax casting and made Brent memorized these terms: the sprue cup, the sprue, the runners, and the riser; all parts of the casting process. We then checked out the old swimming hole and the flower gardens and then off for some strawberry/lemon ice cream in Windsor.…
