    Claremont’s New Sculpture

    Today we decided to visit Claremont’s new 250th Anniversary sculpture and the river front surrounding the park. The sculpture was designed by a local artist named Ernest Montenegro. We liked it. I think things like the sculpture and the walking bridge are good things for Claremont. I noticed a few “tourists” checking things out. Enjoy. Click here to see Brent’s pictures from today.

    The Shoe Strap

    If you take Shoe Strap Road off from Rte 10 in Lyme, NH it turns into a Class 5 Road. My Mini and I made it through to the other side and parked. I carefully made it down to the brook which has dug a very deep ravine over the centuries. Because it was so dark, these are long exposures (around 30 seconds.) which made for some interesting shots.
