Winter on the Lower Mascoma River
I spent three hours on the Mascoma River behind Kmart where the river flows into the Connecticut and at the dam near Riverside Park. It was in the 40’s, so the ice was breaking up which made for some interesting shots. Most of theses pictures were taken with five shots at different exposures.

Trues Brook-January Thaw
After a full day of rain and temperatures in the 40’s I thought I could get some interesting pictures along Trues Brook. The conditions were very icy (thank goodness for my microspikes) and I almost got my car stuck in the mud. It was a challenge to get the shots that I wanted because of the brightness of the fast moving water, snow, and ice. These were the best shots out of the bunch.
