On Monday and Tuesday I made almost a 500 mile round trip up to the Flagstaff Hut on Lake Flagstaff Lake, ME. This is about 22 miles north of North New Portland, ME northeast of the Sugarloaf  ski area. It took almost 6hrs to get there by car and then an hour snowshoe hike in the dark with temperatures hovering around zero to get to the hut. It was a beautiful place, but unfortunately it was a little cold to take many pictures.
