Dragonflies at the Quarry
A short hike from Mount Support Road can get you to a very unique spot that is great for exploring. An old abandoned quarry that looks like the stone was never used. The trail starts on the top of Dartmouth Ave. There are two trails either Bruce Lee (more challenging) or Get Yer Goat. Both will take you to the top. Get Yer Goat intersects with the old access Road for a quicker accent, but very steep and technical. I would recommend taking Get Yer Goat to Quarry Direct, then come back down Bruce Lee. Too Hot For Apple Picking
We made our annual trek to Riverview Farm for some apple picking, but boy was it hot! Our visit was short, but the kids picked 20 lbs. of apples in no-time. I did have time for a few shots. I was glad to get a nice shot of a damsel fly.
