Smith Pond Brook Loop
Got up early and hiked my new favorite trails. This time I took the yellow trail to the top (over 1700 feet) and stopped at the upper falls for some photos until I thought my fingers were going to freeze. If you were wondering 72 rods is 1188 feet. The shots above were 30 second exposures with a 10 stop ND Filter.

An Early Spring at Big Dog Falls
What a beautiful morning! Walked up to Big Dog Falls. It was a little teacherous with the ice and frozen snow. I had to wade accross the cold brook a few times to be able to make it up to the falls. On the way back I stirred up a group of deer feeding in the open logged hillside. The male actually came back around a little further down the trail and gave me a load snort before he darted off to join with the rest of the herd.
