My Trip to Paris (Part 6)
Musée de l’ArméeThis is the perfect Museum for Military buffs. I only spent a few hours here, but could have easily spent the whole day. I focused mainly on World War I and II artifacts. The buildings were originally built to house wounded soldiers during the reign of Louis XIV. Now the buildings house the Museum, the Dome Church or the Tomb of Napoleon, and the Cathedral of Saint-Louis des Invalides.

Saratoga National Battlefield Park
I was in Saratoga Springs this week for a conference and had a few hours set aside to visit the battlefield. I was able to run the Wilkinson Trail (the fields were very wet) and drive the 11 mile loop to take a few photos. It was a sunny, but very brisk day. I had a hard time holding the camera while taking the photos of the Neilson Farm. Standing on the hill at the farm, you can almost picture the battle in your head. I would highly recommend a visit.
