Arc de Triomphe and a Walk along the Champs-Elysees Controlled Mayhem at the Arc de Triomphe My next stop after visiting the Eiffel Tower was the Arc de Triomphe. It was about a twenty minute walk. The first thing that grabs you is the traffic zipping around the circle (see above). I approached the circle from Victor Hugo Avenue and then walked counter clock wise to the Champs Elysees where there is an underground walkway to the monument.
