It is a very steep climb up the open fields with views south. At the top there is a wide trail to an upper field with apple trees. At the upper field, my paths crossed with a young porcupine eating breakfast. A short walk into the trail I got a glimpse of a young bear and on the way back I also stirred up a few deer.
